Excellent jazz ensemble from Italy featuring bass, vibes, drums, trombone,trumpet & electronics. As you might imagine from the instrumentation this isn't exactly your grandfather's jazz music! The vibraphonist is Francesco Pinetti (see Francesco Pinetti Ensemble) who is a world-class talent both on his instrument and as a composer! As a composer Pinetti , who seems to be influenced by Frank Zappa (who is thanked in the credits for inspiration!), is a force in the music world to be reckoned with! Q successfully marry composition and improvisation, jazz and 'classical chamber music' to great effect!! Highest recommendation!
