The second studio album from England's This Heat is, in many people's opinion, their greatest achievement. Certainly more 'rock' and less experimental than their debut disc, "Deceit" is definitely as uncompromising as anything they have ever done. Pushing the idea of a 'rock song' to its furthest limits they have created a work to rival the best of Henry Cow or Faust and one cannot be interested in experimental rock music without this essential release.
