Great prog group from Canada featuring guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, sax & vocals. Overall they recall the last incarnation of King Crimson mixed with a little Rush and a little Porcupine Tree! Exciting rhythms and catchy riffs abound. Good vocals plus some nice mellotron-ish sounds and a ripping sax solo now & then add alot to their sound. On this, their debut from 2007, they really emphasize the Crimson influence quite a bit, especially in the guitar solos and in the Bruford-esque drumming. The band also provide us with a great version of Jethro Tull's "Cross-eyed Mary" on their label's prog tribute disc "Undercover" (see Various Artists on this web-site for more infor on that release!). A very solid and rewarding debut release from a band who already ranks with the best of modern contemporary prog!
