Long-awaited release by superb French group whose sound is firmly in the realm of Eskaton but with a gentler almost ECM-like quality at times. You gotta love any band with two full-time Fender Rhodes players! Plus we get bass, drums, soprano saxophone & female voice. James MCGaw (Magma, One Shot) guests on guitar. The music is seductive and beautiful. Imagine Eberhard Weber's "The Colours of Chloe" mixed with the first Eskaton album and you get the idea! Soleil Zeuhl's website says that this is supposed to be one long piece but the disc is divided into 9 tracks, any of which could stand alone. One of the best releases in the zeuhl genre for quite some time. And there's been some stiff competition! It is good to see msuicians keeping this tradition alive. Not just alive but vibrant! Highly recommended!!!
