This reunion release really isn't a reunion. Procession were an Italian band who put out 2 albums in the early 70s only to disappear almost totally from the scene after that. This album by a revamped Procession, containing only original guitarist Roby Munciguerra from the 70s group, was recorded in 2006 and continues in the Italian tradition of the 70s bands such as PFM and Banco. Singer Samuele Alletto has that typically sweet Italian timbre to his voice and also contributes some very nice flute playing. Keyboardist Stefano Carrara isn't flashy but adds some nice textures and atmospheres to the songs. All in all this is a very nice release that - aside from the obvious modern recording equipment and techniques - could have been made in 1977! Another respectable addition to the ever growing catalog of fine Italian progressive music.
