Rich Casey's second release is a feast for the ears. Lush Tony Banks-inspired keyboards, a little aggressive guitar and some real nice female vocals make this a prog lover's paradise. I hear a little Camel, certainly mid-70s Genesis, and maybe even a hint of Canterbury in the vocal lines here & there. Casey's writing is probably as original as it gets in this genre. A lot of this is very close to The Flower Kings in their less bombastic moods. Vocalist Gabrille Agachiko is a real treat. She sings on nearly half the tunes, with most of the remainder being instrumentals, and shines on every one! If you are into Genesis, The Flower Kings, Rush, and Glass Hammer, a.o., then check out this excellent disc! Highly recommended!
