Echolyn-related in that LOC are headed up by Finneus Gauge drummer John Buzby who is Chis Buzby's brother and the drummer here is Jordan Perlson who played percussion on Echolyn's "Cowboy Poems Free". But wait a minute, didn't I just say that LOC are headed up by drummer Buzby? Yes, they are! Only in LOC he is the keyboard player!! This is also produced by Brett Kull of Echolyn. And you guessed it, they sound a little like ...... Echolyn! Though the arrangements are more basic and the songs somewhat 'jazzier', one will hear bits & pieces of the Echolyn sound here! Certainly fans of Echolyn and similar musics will find much to enjoy from Land Of Chocolate!!
