Excellent solo album from IZZ guitarist. This has some folk elements that are integrated into a prog-rock format. In this way "Wombsong" reminds us of early Steve Hackett or early Focus. There is, as with IZZ themselves, a certain Fripp/Crimson influnce here & there. Having said all of that, this is a really good melodic - and mostly instrumental - progressive album that delivers on all fronts! Highly recommended!!!
