Great new live EP from this superb Swiss/Belgian ensemble led by saxist Markus Stauss! The remainder of the group consists of Michel Delville (guitar, guitar synth, electronics), Damien Campion (electric & double bass) and Laurent Delchambre (drums, percussion, devices) - all from the excellent Belgian fusion band The Wrong Object. Here, as the title implies, they are making their way through Stauss arrangements of 6 Zappa classics! "Willie the Pimp", "Mother People", "The Gumbo Variations", "Mom & Dad", "Apostrophe" & "King Kong". The arrangements are insightful & provide a glimpse of the Zappa genius while giving the players enough room to stretch out a little. The live recording is beautiful & balanced throughout! Another fine release from these monster musicians!
