Excellent heavy rock guitar trio which incorporates elements of prog (King Crimson, Boud Deun), melodic instrumental rock (Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson), "jam" bands (Djam Karet, Blind Idiot God), and 'heavy' groups like Ruins & Dyzrhythmia. This music relies not on vocals (there are none) nor on individual virtuosity (though the players are clearly more than capable) but on the intergration of the three parts into the compositions. Riff-laden and even catchy, Bolt rock along at a steady & relentless pace. If you like any of the names dropped above then Bolt will probably interest you.
