The second album by this Finnish band finds them operating in the same beautifully melodic territory as their debut. Personnel changes include replacing their original female singer with a male vocalist who also doubles on keyboards and adding a new rhythm section, freeing the original keyboardist from doing double duty as the drummer and leaving him to concentrate more on the keyboard arrangements. Although we do miss the female singer, the new guy is a more than acceptable replacement and has the added advantage of being a good keyboard player and a woodwinds player as well, adding flute and soprano sax to the group's palate. The arrangements this time are far more symphonic and probably owe a lot to the dual keyboards line-up. Think Camel or 1977-era Genesis meets Banco at their best and you get the idea. A fine release from a band we hope to hear much more from!!
