Reissue of a long-lost French rarity (issued privately in 1978 on LP) is a much welcomed event. Actually from the French territory of Corsica and perhaps unique as the only prog-rock group from that island the band enjoys a special place in progressive rock history. Corsica is actually a mixture of Italian and French cultures (being a French possession since 1770 but closer to the Italian mainland) this Mediterranean island has produced a unique musical climate. One can certainly hear the influence of Magma in Rialzu's music but also the influence of Banco & PFM. Long symphonic tracks with violin, keyboards & guitar over the standard rhythm section of bass & drums with two excellent singers. This reissue features all three tracks from the original LP plus 2 bonus live tracks (of two pieces not on the LP!) and a short live video clip from 1977. Comes in a standard jewel case with a large informative booklet and the original album artwork, plus several nice photos.
