This CD documents live concerts from March 1992. It is 2 different trios. One with Stauss on saxes, digital horn, recorder ; Jean Chaine on electric bass ; David Moss on drums, vocals & electronics. The other trio is Ellen Christi on vocals ; Thomi Hirt on bass ; Dieter Ulrich on drums, bugle, tape. The trios part is obvious but the Duos referred to in the title seem to be the two trios put together dueting with each other! The music is mostly free improvisation and will appeal to fans of that. If you like musicians stretching out to the outer reaches of weirdness then this is for you!
