Excellent Finnish progressive in the vein of White Willow or Anglagard but with an earthier sensibility giving them a more earnest sound. Feeling less forced and contrived than others of the "Scandanavian revival" this could easily have been made in 1977! Influences of Genesis, Camel and The Strawbs are apparent though not one single model is clear. Beautiful keyboards (including organ & mellotron) and guitars (both acoustic & electric) are the basis with a fluid rhythm section and the spice of flute and an excellent female vocalist! Though all of the singing is in Finnish there are nice English translations available on the band's web-site. If there will be a better Scandanavian release this year I want to hear it! Highly recommended.
