Second of the two very fine LPs by this short-lived French band who mixed prog rock with touches of fusion, electronics and avant sounds to great effect. This reissue comes with a short bonus track and nice, informative booklet in the Musea tradition. Stellar sound with the then cutting-edge "super bit mapping' technology. Many people think that the excellent Canadian group Miriodor were very influenced by this group. They may not be far off in that assessment! To say that Carpe Diem were totally unique would be off the mark but they did have a sound that was pretty distinctive nonetheless. Some comparisons could be made to other French bands of the time; Neo, Triangle, Wappasou, but they were one of the best.
